How Rentals Work

1. Choose Your Piece

Browse our collection online or visit us in-store to select your preferred item. Every piece is professionally cleaned, inspected, and ready to wear.

2. Try On Your Way

You may try on items in-store or at home.

  • In-store: our team will assist with the fitting procedure.
  • At home: items are issued with a returns band, allowing you to check fit and feel.

Please keep the returns band intact if for some reason you can not wear the garment.

3. Sign The Rental Agreement And Item Condition Report

Present a valid government photo ID and sign the Rental Agreement. Our team will assist you in inspecting the garment before signing the Item Condition Report. This is to assess the condition of the garment before pick up and after return.

4. Check out

At check out, a refundable security deposit is charged in addition to the rental fee. The security deposit will be refunded within 48hrs after the garment has been returned in good condition. For now, rentals can only be accepted through MoMo or Card payment.

5. Wear & Enjoy

Once confirmed, enjoy your item for the agreed rental period. The standard rental duration is four (4) days. Unless otherwise agreed, items must be returned on or before day 4.

We take care of cleaning. Please DO NOT wash, dry clean, or alter the item.

6. Return Made Simple

Each rental includes a reusable Sanntoma garment bag, designed to protect the item and make returns easy.

At the end of your rental period:

  • Place the item back into the provided garment bag
  • Return the item and packaging to Sanntoma Fashion by the agreed return date.

We'll handle inspection and care from there.

A Quick Note on Returns

  • Items may be tried on but are considered worn if the returns band is removed or damaged.
  • Reusable rental packaging must be returned with the item/items.

Sanntoma: wear it, love it, return it.

1. Eligibility

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Sanntoma Fashion House ("Company") and the undersigned Renter ("Renter"). By renting any item from the Company, the Renter agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

  • The Renter must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Valid proof of identification is required and may include a Passport, Ghana Card, or Driver's License.
  • The Renter must provide accurate and complete personal and contact information.
  • If the renter is a nonresident of Ghana, a resident Ghanaian must guarantee for them.
  • The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify the Renter's identity and to accept or reject any rental request.

2. Rental Period & Returns

  • Each rental is for a minimum period of four (4) days and commences once the Item is collected by or delivered to the Renter.
  • Extensions beyond the standard rental period attract the additional daily rates of the item/items in question.
  • The rental period ends on the date the Item is returned to the Company.
  • All Items must be returned on or before the agreed return date by close of business.
  • All Items are issued with reusable Sanntoma garment bags and a tamper-evident returns band. Items must be returned together with the provided packaging.
  • Items may be tried on; however, removal, damage, or tampering with the returns band constitutes use of the Item and renders it ineligible for refund or exchange.

3. Delivery & Collection

  • Online rental requests must be made at least three (3) days in advance.
  • Delivery services are charged separately.
  • The Renter is responsible for arranging the return of rented Items to the Company's shop or designated drop-off location.

4. Inspection & Acceptance

  • All Items are professionally cleaned, inspected, and photographed by the Company prior to dispatch. These records constitute the official item condition report.
  • The Renter must inspect the Item immediately upon receipt and submit the 'Sanntoma Item Conditions Report'. For online purchases this must be done upon receiving the item. For in store purchases, this must be done prior to completing the purchase.
  • Signing the Item Condition Report or agreeing online constitutes acknowledgement that the Item was received in the condition recorded by the Company.
  • Any defects, damages, or discrepancies must be reported to the Company within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt.
  • Failure to notify the Company within this timeframe shall constitute acceptance of the Item in good condition.
  • Items not worn for reasons such as size or fit must remain unused and returned with the returns band intact.

5. Maintenance & Care

  • Items must not be washed, dry-cleaned, altered, or repaired by the Renter.
  • Caution should be applied when ironing or pressing garments to avoid burns or heat damage.
  • The Renter is responsible for the safe storage and proper care of the Item during the rental period.

6. Fees & Deposits

  • A rental fee is payable for each Item and includes standard cleaning, minor damages (loose seams, small tears, washable stains and odors) and service charges.
  • Additional charges accrue for rentals exceeding the standard rental period of 4 days.
  • Rental fees are non-refundable except as expressly provided under the Cancellation Policy.
  • A refundable security deposit is required prior to release of the Item.
  • Security deposits shall be refunded via the original payment method within forty-eight (48) hours following timely return and satisfactory inspection of the Item.
  • Late returns attract a daily late fee in accordance with the Company's prevailing fee structure.
  • In order to protect the quality and lifespan of all items, a fitting service fee may apply to all in-store fittings. Refer to Sanntoma's Garment Fitting Policy.

7. Damage, Loss & Theft

  • Any major damage, alteration, or loss identified upon return of an Item shall be charged against the security deposit in accordance with the Company's Damage & Fee Structure.
  • The Renter accepts full responsibility for any loss, theft, non-return, or major damage to the Item occurring during the Rental Period. The Renter agrees to reimburse the Company for all costs incurred as a result, including but not limited to the full replacement value of the Item, repair or restoration costs, recovery expenses, legal fees, court costs, and any other reasonable costs arising from the breach of this Agreement. Any security deposit paid may be applied toward these costs without limiting the Company's right to recover any outstanding balance.
  • In the event of any dispute regarding the condition of an Item, the Company's pre-dispatch inspection records shall be final and binding.

8. Refund Policy

  • Security deposits are refundable once Items are cleared after inspection, subject to deductions for damage, loss, or lateness.
  • Rental fees are non-refundable once an Item has left the Company's custody.

9. Cancellation Policy

9.1 Pre-Booked Rentals. For advance or online bookings, the following apply:

  • Cancellations made five (5) or more days before the rental start date attract a full refund of the rental fee.
  • Cancellations made three (3) to four (4) days before the rental start date attract a fifty percent (50%) refund.
  • Cancellations made less than three (3) days before the rental start date are non-refundable.
